All meals should be based on a balanced diet with the correct proportions of nutrients. Too much or too little of any substance can often cause damage and bring disease. The daily chart diet food must contain the right proportions of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and fiber.

According to the World Health Organization, complex carbohydrates should contribute at least fifty percent of the calories in the diet, while fats or fatty acids should not be more than 35 percent, while the remaining 15 percent must include protein. In order to obtain the necessary 50% of carbohydrates, you should have a good amount of brown rice, whole wheat bread, potatoes, etc. in almost all main meals clothing and vegetables also should occupy an important part on your plate.

Small amounts of fat from low to moderate routine such as lean meat, different types of fish and shellfish, lean poultry, etc. should also be included in the meal. Try to keep high calorie protein or high fatty substances such as all milk, dairy products to a minimum. The amount of calories you eat also depends on your height, weight, age and sex as well as their current state of nutrition and physical activity.
